blessed

I am catching up a bit! At the first of December we gathered all the family we could into our home for a special baby blessing for our precious Elijah! It was wonderful. My two brothers and all of their families who were able to attend came. How grateful I am for my siblings! Jeremiah's parents were there. We missed those who weren't able to attend, but were grateful for those who were there.

Elijah is such a gift to our family. In every sense. He is our miracle after losing our precious babe just entering the second trimester back in May 2016. He is so even tempered and happy. We cannot imagine our family without him! 

The blessing was beautiful. Afterwords we ate some of my favorite home made food: home made  pinto beans, slow cooker chicken, home made cilantro tomatillo dressing, warm tortillas and salad. Cousins played, we had wonderful conversation, and I couldn't help but think how very much I love my family. What blessings! xo
