happy birthday, abe!
I have so much to catch up on and articulate here! About six weeks ago we sold our home and still have not found that new right spot to call home, so we are in a bit of transition! I wanted to share a bit from Abraham's birthday, though. He is such a gift to our family.
I cannot believe his is four. I remember so clearly when he was born and when he was a baby. Yet another reminder to savor each day (even when the day is hard)!
That little dirty sweatshirt sleeve! Sometimes you just gotta let the kids wear what they want, even if it's that old, stained, wonderfully comfortable sweatshirt. Sometimes I say no to my children's outfit choices if the occasion is particular, but I want my children to look back on their childhood with a sense of freedom that mom wasn't so concerned over them wearing the perfect thing.
He's been taking about getting a bow and arrow for a good long time. So fun to see him use it!
This picture! It makes me laugh. Real life goodness, that's for sure!
